Overview
Qooti is an AI nutrition app we designed and engineered end-to-end for users across the Arab world. It lets people track calories and nutrition with minimal effort, by photographing a meal or scanning a barcode, through a natively Arabic interface from the very first screen. We wanted to make nutrition tracking an easy habit instead of a daily chore.

Challenges & learnings
The biggest challenge was accurate calorie estimation from real meal photos, especially for diverse local cuisine. We built an Arabic food database and tuned the vision models for practical, fast results, while keeping the experience light and smooth from the first screen.
Outcome
Nutrition tracking became an easy daily habit instead of a burden. Users snap a meal or scan a barcode to get a clear picture of their intake and progress toward their goal, in a natively Arabic experience.
